Gratitude

Gratitude

There is a surge in book sales especially on ‘Amazon’ for books that encourage us to look for and appreciate why we should feel grateful, this acceptance of gratitude gives us a feeling of well-being. During this period of the ‘Covid Pandemic’ at first you may consider there is nothing to be grateful for, being penned up in isolation, but this is not the case, there are plenty of reasons to be thankful at the start of each new day.

Gratitude is a thankful appreciation for what an individual receives, whether tangible or intangible. Gratitude helps people feel more positive emotions, relish good experiences, improves our health, dealing with adversity, and builds strong relationships. People feel and express gratitude in multiple ways.

Gratitude is a warm feeling of thankfulness towards the world, or towards specific individuals. The person who feels gratitude is thankful for what they have and does not constantly seek more.
